love is the feeling you get when you pull a little kid out of the water at the pool
or the feeling you get when your cat rubs its side around your ankles asking for attention
or the contagious sensation you get when someone just cant resist laughing when they’re not exactly supposed to
love doesn’t hurt

or maybe it does

love can be found in tears running down a mothers face when shes hurting for her child
or when your highschool friend is taken up in a car accident
or when your plans clash with Gods and you’re just not sure
but these kinds of hurt are temporary

they’re like the sunny part you get in a dandelion before they become the moon instead
or how a bubble pops just as its gotten as big as it can
or how a man can die and walk in love three days later

love is such a complex, but beautiful thing.
